The E-Gel Power Snap System is a compact benchtop instrument that has integrated nucleic acid electrophoresis and gel imaging functionalities. The instrument consists of two main components: the device base and the camera for capturing gel images. It works with precast E-Gel agarose gels, which are buffer-less gels containing SYBR Safe DNA stains and ladders. This eliminates the need to pour gels, prepare buffers, and handle toxic dyes such as ethidium bromide.
